Call for Application to Human Rights Legal Clinic

Application process to Human Rights Legal Clinic is now open for 3rd and 4th Year students. Interested students should send an email with their student numbers to [email protected] by November 4, 2019.

Applicants must be interested in human rights issues and have passed the course of Human Rights. Eligible students will be invited to an interview in the first week of November by email. As only a certain number of students are allowed by partner institutions, students to be assigned will be selected in this process. Only assigned students must select Human Rights Legal Clinic as an elective course on Einstein Portal.

HUMAN RIGHTS LEGAL CLINIC FOR LLB STUDENTS AT NEAR EAST UNIVERSITY

Human Rights Legal Clinic aims at providing students with hands-on experience regarding human rights matters. Students will be assigned in relevant institutions to observe real cases, to assist practitioners in this field and to help produce solutions. Students will practice under supervision of clinic instructors. They will prepare reports on the files by asserting the facts, research questions, and legal norms to apply and other findings for a legal solution. Such cases will be mainly on legal issues of foreign citizens residing in TRNC.
